STEVEN JAMES is an award-winning author, keynote speaker, and professional storyteller with a master’s degree in storytelling. Since 1996, he has appeared more than two thousand times, presenting his stories and teaching writing and storytelling at events spanning the globe.
With more than one million copies sold, his books have won or been shortlisted for dozens of national and international awards. Best known for his psychological thrillers, his novels have garnered wide critical acclaim from sources including Booklist, Library Journal, the Associated Press, the New York Journal of Books, and many others. Publishers Weekly has called him a “master storyteller at the peak of his game.”
In addition to his writing and speaking, Steven hosts the weekly podcast The Story Blender, on which he has interviewed hundreds of the top storytellers and writers in the world on the secrets to great storytelling.
TOM MORRISEY is deeply in demand as one of the world’s top speechwriters and executive-engagement specialists. He has spent more than three decades as a Fortune 500 speechwriter and communications consultant, working with companies such as Chrysler, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, and The Walt Disney Company.
He is also a popular conference speaker who has taught storytelling techniques (and the science underlying them) on both sides of the Atlantic. Tom currently works in public affairs management for The Walt Disney Company, where he mentors speechwriters and storytellers on three continents. He also pens thrillers and literary fiction.

For more than twenty-five years, Steven and Tom have taught presentation skills and storytelling techniques to thousands of speechwriters, speakers, authors, executives, and educators around the world.
